Pat Thach began his martial arts journey in 2018 under the instruction of Master Phil. Although he had long held a passion for martial arts since childhood, it wasn’t until the age of 24 that he committed to formal training. Born to a family of Vietnamese refugees who arrived in the U.S. in 1993, Pat was raised in South Philadelphia, where he developed a strong sense of resilience and purpose.
A proud graduate of Penn State University’s Main Campus, Pat earned a full academic scholarship and completed his degree in 2015. He now works as a software engineer, balancing a demanding career with his commitment to martial arts and personal development.
Pat’s mission is to help others discover their inner strength, confidence, and discipline through martial arts training. He believes the practice goes beyond physical technique—it’s a powerful tool for shaping character, clarity, and confidence.
Outside of training, Pat values quality time with his wife and toddler son. A fun fact: he’s also a dynamic wedding emcee, known for bringing energy and joy to celebrations across the tri-state area.
